I hate asking for help. It’s so humiliating to admit it when I need help. God continually reminds me to come to him for help, and he wants me to ask for it, in even small ways. So, I’m learning. But when it comes to asking one of my children or a neighbor, it’s difficult and embarrassing! I want to be thought of as independent, able to take care of myself. But now, as I’m old, I’m forced to ask at times in spite of my pride. Old age is another way God uses to teach us humility. I’m trying to be thankful for that!

Thanks Shiela ❤️ yes, it’s difficult but it’s also allowing them to be blessed as they bless us. It gives them self worth as it builds our humility. I’ve learned to ask for help where I never would’ve before. Where would we have been if God hadn’t reached down and offered his help to us?
