“Start a new tradition with your friends or family” is the matchstick suggestion for this week. This one I’ve got to think about and not only think about, it involves discussion with others. In our family we already have a lot of traditions, such as get-togethers on holidays and birthdays. My daughters and I have a special Christmas time together a few nights before the actual holiday with the family. We have annual family reunions as well. And, there are other traditions personal to families, prayer before meals, for example. As for friends, every few months our neighborhood has a block party. One group of my friends schedules a monthly lunch together. Another group and I meet for dinner every Wednesday evening and often on Saturday evenings. Got to think about this. I’ll let you know what I come up with.
A New Tradition
