My daughter and I go for lunch after church most Sundays. This Sunday we tried a Thai restaurant we hadn’t been to. As we waited for our food, I noticed the bartender come up to a Buddha figure on a shelf on the wall. He put some small items underneath it and placing his palms together, he prayed. Buddha is not considered a god but his principles on bettering oneself are followed by millions around the world. Someday this faithful man will learn, as we all must, that only through Jesus living in us do we have any hope of truly becoming better people.
