Though I firmly believe Christ died and was resurrected so all could have the gift of salvation and eternal life, sometimes it comes to mind why me. How is it I understand these truths and enjoy the relationship I have with my Savior when some of my friends, neighbors and family do not. Even some scientists, professors, doctors and authors, those I may respect for their knowledge in their fields, do not have the peace and joy I experience. How can it be I was chosen to understand these tremendous truths before they were. Then I remember God has perfect timing. And, 1 Corinthians 1:27-29 also comes to mind.

Then there are those who say “why not me”. It’s comforting to know that no matter the timing, God has abundant mercy for us all. Thanks Sheila! β€οΈ
