On a day I had set aside to deepen my relationship with my Maker, after a time of meditation and prayer, thanking him for his blessings and praying for all my family, friends and neighbors, I thought what else. Every good relationship is built on sharing, but what could I share with an all-powerful God who knows everything already and has no need of anything. He must have heard me because then the thought came that I could share with him what we both love. So I began to share my love of his colorful flowers, from delicate lavenders to flaming oranges and reds. And how I love your birds, Lord, from the tiny hummingbirds to the crimson cardinals to the huge blue herons on the lake. Horses, you know how much I love horses! On and on, I shared with him my love of his creation, which, after all, he also finds very good.
