Prompted by a Bible app to list God’s virtues, I listed patience first. I should have listed love first. He IS love. I wondered why I didn’t. Maybe because I was praying for his patience that morning. In this chaotic, hate-filled world, with leaders in charge who care more for power and money than for people’s lives, I have to cry out to God for help. I need to be reminded he’s in charge and that he’s been so patient with me so many times. Sometimes I wonder where is God in this mess, but he’s always there. Lord, help me to trust and to wait for your perfect timing.
