As the numbers rise into the billions of dollars, some of my friends love to buy lottery tickets. They don’t buy a lot and It’s only in fun. Someone once said, “Well, somebody’s going to win.” And, that’s true. But, from what I’ve read about some of the winners, their lives didn’t turn out as wonderful as they expected. In a few years’ time many are back where they started financially. Think about it, as Christians, we’ve already won the lottery! We have the pearl of great price! And, it’s a sure thing. Our Savior brings us more joy and happiness than anything money can buy!
