Be Strong

Be strong. Be courageous and wait for the Lord, says the psalmist (Psalms 31:24, NRSV). If you’re like me that’s not always the easiest. It’s difficult to be patient. Sometimes I think my prayer requests are urgent and need to be resolved immediately. Please, Lord, it’s an emergency! But I’ve learned what I believe is a crisis is not necessarily so. Sometimes, yes, but not always. God looks at the overall picture for the most good for all concerned. Be strong. Wait for the Lord. His timing is always the best.
